Coconut!

Hey guys!
Everything is going well here! The  weather is super fresco and the year is starting off right! We have some really positive investigators and we're getting closer to the baptismal dates! Hope everything goes well!
But I received some pretty bad news this week... This year was supppposed to be el año de la Niña..meaning it's supposed to rain alot this year, woohoo!, but according to recent updates, it 'changed' to el Niño! :( I guess this means its going to be a drought and hot all year! Dang it! And I can't keep an umbrella with me to protect from the sun or else they'll think we're Jehovah Witnesses even more than they do now haha So yeah, its going to be my first summer here! We'll see if its worse than Phoenix summer ;) I love cooking now! haha its wierd because my mind goes into a certain cooking-mode and I remember all of the things Ive seen you guys cook and how, its pretty cool! Same thing with cleaning! haha I cant STAND a dirty apartment lol New years day me and my comp cleaned reallly good our house so its all clean now!(always) THanks for teaching me all of the little stuff!
My comp also taught me alot about family stuff because of his family. He is the youngest of 13 siblings and we share alot of the same types of experiences being the youngest. And hes handled it differently, lets put it this way, he was really bad before he came,  but yeah, then he changed his life around. And he hardly has communication with about half of his other siblings, and his mom has cancer :/ his story is incredible! He tried to go home SO BAD his first few changes but Pres Bowler wouldnt let him lol its funny! But then after a while he nknew he had to stay. This christmas skype call he found out she is 90% cured! and he is about 15 months in!

anyways I'm doing good!  Thank you for the emails guys! I love the support!

The other day I had my first Honduran Coconut! It is amazing! If tastes like... Coconut water! Who would've guessed?

Bigger area!!

 Thats right.
I know Im always talking about how big our area is (because yes, its huge!) and now it only got bigger! lol We have been working hard trying to work all over the place, we´re usually on divisions. But the other day in our correlation meeting we realized that there were people from another colony coming to our ward and we investigated and found that this certain colony is on the border line of our Mission boundaries and its always been a gray area about whos ward those people are supposed to go to. And because of this, there are alot of inactives there. So we talked to our Mission president to clarify whos area is that really. So he did the math, or science, or whatever, and then concluded that is our area. (Yay!) This colony alone is so big that they were going to make a branch there. So we went there the other day and my comp looked at me and said, Welcome to Honduras. This is like a whole nother world! This colony, Las Brizas, is literally a step into the South, except the blistering heat.lol So we started talking around and the people are so amazing! We found members right about and this 10 year old girl gave willingly alot of her time to show us around and showing us where all of the inactives, members, and old investigators are! Just in the first 30 minutes we found about 3 future baptisms of people who have been ready, but the missionaries never baptized them. So im pretty excited about Las Brizas!
Remember that story I told you guys about the lady who has been praying for a sign for her to return to church with her family, and then we just happened to knock on the door? Well yeah thats familia Tilguant, and we have been working a lot with them! They are soo into getting baptized! I love working with them its fun! Im not used to teaching children but im getting the hang of it. Oh and mom thanks for the little CTR rings, they LOVED them! Speaking of that, I finally recieved my packages! Thank you so much! Thanks for all of the food from everyone (my comp is pretty happy about the candy;) and thanks for the gym i got!lol and for the letter from the young women of the ward lol thanks for everything guys! I love the support! And thanks for all of the survival things that were added in the box lol at first i was really surprised why there were ropes, zip ties, tapes, etc but then my comp was saying that I will be using alottt of that in the South (dun, dun dunnn) Im getting the feeling im going there soon. Im pretty scared! haha that IS Honduras lol Where im at not is pretty much the best place in the mission lol Changes is the 3 of February, and im pretty sure im being changed because im ending my training then. BUT! Huge news. Sad news :( There is not going to be Changes Meetings anymore :( Changes Meetings are so fun and awesome because thats where you see all of the missionaries and get to see where everyone goes and stuff, now you just get a phone call and they tell you where to go i guess. But the president is stressing out about this because in Honduras its pretty dangerous to be traveling alone (which may be the case sometimes) So we´ll see what happens this change.
 Miss you guys!

Jamming out with my comp and a member. This is usually what our Sunday nights look like
after our correlation meeting. Freddy has 3 guitars so we are always shredding together!! haha

I love the Holidays!!!!

 MMMMMM!!!!!  TAJARITAS CON POLLO!!

ELDER CARTER EATING A TIPICO "TAJARITAS CON POLLO"

OUR ZONE AT THE MISSION CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!!

Man these past weeks have been amazing!
Carter and I are calling them P-Weeks because work was pretty slow, and there were alot of celebrations! These people here love celebrating! I fit right in ;) Like ive said before the members love us so much! and they feed us sooo much i love it! Im still getting used to some of the food but for the most part it is amazing! Especially baleadas! I had the best Baleada ever today! Its the Honduran specialty dish. But yeah these holiday days are awesome! Well both christmas eve and day we ate the main meals with gringo families, so that made it feel like home haha Christmas day was the best! We ate with the Hansen family, he grew up in Mesa arizona, loves working out like us, and loves the same music as us! So we are always have a great time with their family just talking and stuff. After our Skype call on christmas we were sitting in the living room just jamming out on the guitar and everybody singing! It was awesome :) But then pretty much everynight the last week and this week there are firecrackers ALLL NIGHT! Its so annoying because the firecrackers are HUGE! I kid you not! HUGE! It always sounds like the firecrackers are inside the apartment! So its hard to get some sleep. Its funny how the people here are all used to it lol But I had the craziest day of my life yesterday, its so bad I cant write here, but remember to ask me about it when I get home, its so funny! haha! Im having the greatest time ever here, me and my comp are making the most of the mission as possible, alwaus having a great time and making memories, I feel like ive grown so much already! I love the work that we do! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
